J.Z. Stone

J.Z. Stone, a long-time lover of all things vampire and shifters, started her first manuscript after attending a live-action roleplay game called Vampire: The Masquerade. Life and a fifteen-year-long writer's block interrupted the completion of that first manuscript. In 2017 she was introduced to a different type of roleplay that was done on social media platforms. Regardless of the major differences, J.Z. was once again inspired. She didn't just start another story worthy of a manuscript. She had been inundated with ideas and characters. Life got in the way again, but this time the writing didn’t stop. 

 

Although roleplay has always been a huge inspiration that kicked off endless stories for J.Z. it didn’t all start there. She had been telling stories and writing them since she could first talk and write. Her mother and teachers were always encouraging her to pursue her dream of being a writer.

 

While J.Z. battled multiple chronic pain disorders, and family crises her characters and stories were the outlet she needed to keep fighting another day. Thank the Fates she has not had to fight the curse of writer’s block this time. Six years, sixty-four characters, and four works in progress later, J.Z. has finally claimed her year.

 

J.Z. writes stories that merge real-life issues with the supernatural. Her characters survive tragic pasts, fight to protect humanity, and meet their destiny. Her characters get the happily ever after that those in her real life never seemed to achieve.

 

Her debut novel, For All Eternity: Destinies Entwined, is co-authored with the extremely talented William Tate. Their novel is currently on Kindle Vella. She has 2 other works in progress. A novella, Warrior Soul, that is planned to release on the Winter Solstice. The other, Another Realm: Ancient Bloodlines is a WIP which she hopes to release some time in 2024.

 

J.Z. is a single mother, living in Pennsylvania with her teenage daughter, her twelve-year-old magical cat, StellaLuna, and a small zoo of various other fur babies.
